Jessica Saffer PhD

Jessica is a clinical psychologist who works in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. She is passionate about inclusion and accessibility, and introduced Limmud L'Am, a programme for adults with learning disabilities, to Limmud in 2011. For her doctoral thesis, she researched people's experiences of claiming disability benefits, and found that people experienced claiming benefits as stressful and judgemental, and that this detrimentally affected their wellbeing.

She aims to help people to build on their own resources and to
facilitate better access to services.
